Mikołaj Szwaja
My name is Mikołaj Szwaja and I'm an artist and designer, currently studying Fashion at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. My works, engineered and tailored, were created thanks to my fascination with the correlation between femininity and masculinity. Additionally, recently I started experimenting with form and symmetry of shapes. The whole thing is interwoven with the inner soul of the warriors.
Besides designing clothes, last year I became interested in playing music as a Dj in diverse places and circumstances. My music style is characterized by a high tempo and sharp sound.
Every human is or should be some kind of warrior.
Warriors are the reason why mankind has been always fighting.
Fight is caused by the strongest warrior.
Strongest warrior gathered men.
Men to prevent conquer turned into tribe.
Tribe transformed into empire.
Empire oppressed weaker.
Weaker turned into ashes.
Ashes were the place where rebels were born.
Rebels overthrew empires.
Empires will inevitably become their own enemies.
Enemies are the part of every human.
Crucial element is to keep the balance between the emperor and the oppressed.
