Melle Bond

My name is Melle and I’m an all-round run and gun filmmaker, literally. I run and point as fast as I can. That way the subject and I stay in that flow of the moment we’re trying to capture. The result is realism. Which is all you’ve ever wanted, right?! Of course I’m only half-kidding; I do have a tripod too for people to take me seriously.

I love making people aware of the strangeness of the world around them. And I find myself doing that through a lens.

I have to admit; to me it feels like a cheap trick to make that strange world feel even a bit more strange with just a simple pan or cut. Luckily I love cheap tricks. They can be so painful or so funny. Preferably both.

A strong passion for cinema and anything that comes near it makes me wanna make movies that last. Movies or scenes or fragments that stay with you and make you ask the strange questions. Like; Am I flirting with you?
